TEHRAN: iran’s official media reported that the leadership of the country’s armed forces has pledged allegiance to the new supreme leader, mojtaba khamenei.
According to iranian media, the revolutionary guards declared their readiness to follow and support the directives of the new supreme leader.

Meanwhile, the speaker of the iranian parliament welcomed the selection of mojtaba khamenei as supreme leader. In a statement, he said that following the new leader is both a religious and national duty for all citizens.
mojtaba khamenei, son of the late ayatollah ali khamenei, has been officially named iran’s new supreme leader. The assembly of experts has urged the nation to maintain unity and support the new leadership.
