Japan, with its unique geographical location, has since time immemorial had four distinct seasons: spring, summer, fall, and winter, which are deeper and more colorful than other countries. The calendar plays an important role in the Japanese people’s experience of the four seasons and is an indispensable tool in many people’s lives.

After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the invited guests explored varieties of calendar depicting aspects of Japanese culture, including Ikebana, Japanese gardens, and natural scenery in the exhibition hall. In his speech, Acting Consul General NAKAGAWA Yasushi highlighted that during the 2011 earthquake, Pakistan community in Japan and Pakistani nation proved their friendship and played a vital role in helping with the relief work.
Chief Guest Additional Chief Secretary Sindh Iqbal Memon said understanding each other’s culture would bring the two nations and governments together. The exhibition not only offered an artistic insight into Japan’s seasonal beauty but also served as a testament to the enduring diplomatic and cultural ties between the two countries.
