LAKKI MARWAT: Authorities carried out a swift joint search operation near the under-construction University of Lakki Marwat following reports of suspicious activity, officials said. The operation involved a heavy police contingent and Pakistan Army troops, with drone surveillance assisting the search.

The operation was led by Commander 55 Brigade Brigadier Haider Ali, District Police Officer Nazir Khan, and Deputy Commissioner Hameedullah Khan, supported by DSP Lakki Shahi Bakht and SHO Imran. Extensive searches were conducted around the university and surrounding areas to ensure safety.
Officials met with the university administration to review security measures and commended security guards for their vigilance. Authorities stressed that safeguarding educational institutions remains a top priority and that all suspicious activity will be addressed through coordinated police and army strategies.
