KARACHI: The flow of aid from Pakistan to Gaza and Lebanon continues, with the seventeenth shipment of relief supplies recently dispatched. According to a spokesperson for the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), this latest consignment, carrying 17 tons of aid, has left Karachi Airport and is en route to Beirut.
The dispatch ceremony was attended by Dr. Farooq Sattar, a member of the National Assembly from the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, along with representatives from the NDMA and Al-Khidmat Foundation.
As of now, a total of 1,610 tons of aid has been sent to Lebanon and Gaza. The aid packages include essential items such as medicines, ready-to-eat meals, rice, tents, warm clothing, and powdered milk, aimed at supporting the affected populations in these regions.
