KARACHI: Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab visited Mominabad in West Karachi to inaugurate several development projects worth PKR 122 million. The ceremony was attended by city council members, elected representatives, and a large number of local residents.
The projects, covering UC-22, UC-23, and UC-25, focus on road restoration and improvement, including the installation of 113,796 square feet of modern interlocking blocks. Upgrades to the local sewage system are also included as part of the initiative.
Mayor Wahab stated that the joint efforts of the Sindh Government and Karachi Municipal Corporation aim to provide essential services to residents, improve traffic flow, and enhance urban infrastructure. He emphasized that development works in West Karachi will be completed on a priority basis, reflecting the city government’s commitment to sustainable and high-quality roads.
The mayor added that these projects are part of broader measures to ensure modern infrastructure and address citizens’ everyday challenges, reaffirming KMC’s dedication to improving public facilities across Karachi.
