KARACHI: The DIG East Zone organized a formal ceremony on Tuesday to honor police officers recently promoted from Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) to Sub-Inspector, highlighting their dedication and professional achievements.
During the event, the DIG East and senior SSPs personally pinned the new ranks on the officers, acknowledging their commitment to law enforcement. Speaking at the ceremony, Dr Farukh Ali praised the officers for their hard work, integrity, and performance, noting that the promotions were a recognition of their unwavering service.
He urged the officers to continue prioritizing public welfare and stressed the importance of strengthening measures to maintain law and order and tackle crime effectively.
The DIG East congratulated all promoted officers and wished them continued success in their careers, underscoring the critical role they play in safeguarding the city.
