KARACHI: In a display of community vigilance, citizens in Karachi’s New Karachi area apprehended two robbers who were attempting to escape after committing a theft at UP Mor.
Eyewitnesses reported that the robbers were caught in the act, and after a brief struggle, the crowd managed to detain them and inflicted injuries before handing them over to the police. The police confirmed that the suspects had robbed a resident before attempting to flee the scene, prompting community members to take action. In a separate incident in Surjani Town Sector 11, a confrontation occurred between police and a group of robbers.
Law enforcement successfully apprehended two suspects while another managed to escape. SSP West reported that significant amounts of cash and weapons were recovered from the arrested individuals, indicating the ongoing battle against crime in the region
