KARACHI: Authorities conducted an operation in Lyari after receiving information about the presence of extortionists linked to a gang war.
According to the Special Investigation Unit (SIU), two key members of an interprovincial drug trafficking group were apprehended during the raid.
SSP SIU stated that a large quantity of weed was recovered from the arrested suspects, and a case has been registered against them.
Meanwhile, in Madi Pur Mosquito Colony, an unidentified person was injured in a firing incident and was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital.
