City Sees Minimum Temperature of 27°C; Maximum Temperature Expected to Range Between 30°C and 32°C

Karachi is anticipated to experience light drizzle within the next 24 hours, accompanied by partly cloudy skies and persistent humidity. According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the city recorded a minimum temperature of 27°C.
The maximum temperature is forecasted to range between 30°C and 32°C. Winds are blowing from the southwest at 11 km/h, with humidity levels reaching 85%.
Residents should be prepared for slightly damp conditions, as the expected drizzle could increase moisture levels throughout the day.
In recent weeks, heavy rainfall has severely impacted Karachi’s streets, causing significant damage. Key roads have caved in, and neighborhood streets have become nearly impassable, leading to severe traffic disruptions and hazardous conditions for residents.
In Shah Faisal Colony, large potholes from Fauji Foundation Hospital to Number Three have slowed traffic, while local shopkeepers contend with dust and debris. The road from Number Three to Number One, including the route to Malir River Bridge, has become uneven.
Major streets such as Pathrowala Road and Asif Road have also suffered damage. In Clifton Block-2, a road collapse has disconnected parts of the city. Similarly, Jehangir Road near Teen Hatti has seen a newly-built road destroyed by rain.
Korangi’s link road to Landhi is nearly unusable due to potholes and overflowing sewers, leading to road accidents. Additionally, a 24-inch sewage line beneath Tariq Road has collapsed, further exacerbating the situation.
University Road, already congested due to BRT Red Line construction, has become a bottleneck for motorists. Severe traffic jams near Safari Park are caused by standing rainwater and sewage.
