KARACHI: In a significant step to improve healthcare facilities in the city, the karachi municipal corporation (KMC ) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with i-site trust to enhance the operations of spencer a hospital.
The signing ceremony took place at the KMC central office, attended by the Municipal Commissioner and other senior officials. Under the agreement, i-Site Trust will provide comprehensive medical services at Spencer A Hospital, ensuring that all facilities are offered completely free of cost to deserving patients.
Mayor Karachi highlighted that the city’s municipal hospitals are ready to operate under a public-private partnership model. “Our doors are open, and we are committed to providing quality healthcare to the public,” he said.
The mayor added that the restoration of Spencer Hospital will particularly benefit residents of Saddar, Old City, and surrounding areas, eliminating the need to travel long distances or face inconvenience for medical treatment.
