SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: Unknown attackers blew up the Danga Bridge in the Azam Warsak area of Tehsil Barmal, cutting off a key route used by residents for daily commuting and disrupting public movement.
Sources said the connecting road from Dezha Ghundai to Zalay had already suffered repeated bomb attacks, leaving it in poor condition. The bridge’s destruction has forced locals to take longer, alternative routes.
Residents have called for an immediate investigation and urgent reconstruction of the bridge and road to restore normal life. Security forces have cordoned off the area and launched search operations, with further inquiries ongoing.
