KARACHI: A significant event organized by the Anti-Street Crime Forum, titled “Love for Pakistan and Armed Forces,” was held recently in Landhi No.1. The ceremony underscored the nation’s pride in its military and the importance of supporting Pakistan’s armed forces.

The gathering was graced by prominent figures, including Additional Deputy Inspector General (ADIG) Tahir Noorani, Syed Usman ul Hassan Advocate, Maulana Umar Farooq Qadri, Maulana Zareen, education expert Muhammad Irfan, and senior journalist Moinullah Shah.  Each speaker praised Pakistan’s military prowess and the unity of its people. ADIG Tahir Noorani, along with other speakers, highlighted Pakistan’s resilience and ability to overcome challenges, emphasizing that no external force could undermine the nation’s progress.

The speakers also stressed the crucial role of education in empowering the youth to contribute positively to society. In recognition of their dedication, ADIG Tahir Noorani was honored with a traditional Ajrak and sword. Other distinguished guests, including Sub-Division Police Officer (SDPO) Korangi Muhammad Aslam Joya, SDPO Landhi Waqar Jadoon, SDPO Traffic Landhi Javed Ahmed, SHO Landhi Adnan Bukhari, and SO Traffic Landhi Mukhtiar Sindhu, were also acknowledged for their exceptional community service.

Fourteen police officers received certificates of appreciation for their effective role in reducing street crime and managing traffic. The forum also welcomed dozens of new members from the Landhi community and awarded ten forum workers for their outstanding contributions. The event concluded with a Haleem dinner, marking a successful celebration of national pride and community engagement.
