KARACHI: Nasreen Jalil, a senior member of the Central Committee of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P), held a significant press conference at the party’s central election office, Pakistan House, on Wednesday, announcing a surge in new members drawn to the party’s ideology of justice and reform.

Jalil, addressing a room filled with party representatives and elected members, congratulated the newly inducted members, including Fauzia Khan and Shabana Noor. She emphasized the importance of the day for MQM-P, highlighting the party’s growing influence following a successful Youth Convention held on July 28. “Today marks a crucial milestone for MQM-P,” Jalil stated. “We have ignited a new hope among the public, and the increasing number of people joining our party reaffirms our commitment to justice.”
The senior MQM-P leader underscored the party’s role as a staunch opponent of the feudal system, describing MQM-P as the “only ray of hope” for the nation. She praised the party’s discipline and organizational structure, which, she noted, has even garnered recognition from adversaries. Jalil pointed to the significant participation of both men and women in MQM-P’s gatherings, highlighting the inclusive and progressive nature of the party’s approach. Jalil welcomed the new members, particularly emphasizing the role of women in MQM-P. “We are proud to have dedicated individuals like Fauzia Khan and Shabana Noor join us. MQM-P strongly believes in empowering women and encouraging their active participation in the nation’s progress and prosperity,” she said.
Fauzia Khan, speaking at the event, expressed her gratitude for joining MQM-P and praised the party for its respect and support for women. “I am inspired by MQM-P’s philosophy and commitment to justice,” Khan remarked. “I look forward to working closely with the party to spread its message and contribute to its mission.” The press conference concluded with a reaffirmation of MQM-P’s dedication to reform and its vision for a future guided by capable and educated leadership. The event highlighted the party’s ongoing efforts to engage and mobilize citizens around its core values.
