SUKKUR: In a significant crackdown on criminal activities, the Larkana police have apprehended two suspects and seized a range of stolen items, including weapons, motorcycles, and mobile phones. Acting on the directives of SSP Larkana Mir Rohal Khan Khoso, DSP Ratodero Dr. Zahoor Ahmed Soomro led the operation that resulted in the arrest of Abdul Wahab, also known as Abdul Waheed Jatoi. The police discovered a 12-bore repeater gun along with cartridges in his possession, prompting them to register a case against him under the Sindh Arms Act.

In a parallel operation, DSP Hydari Madam Paras Bakhrani and her team arrested a wanted individual identified as Ashwand, alias Ashok Kumar. During this operation, the police recovered a stolen motorcycle belonging to citizen Mukhtiar Ahmed Jatoi, along with two valuable mobile phones belonging to citizen Majid Chana and two additional mobile phones belonging to Lady Police Constable Salma. These arrests are part of ongoing efforts to tackle crime in the Hydari sub-division.

The Sehar Police also made notable progress by recovering a precious iPhone that was reported stolen from Siraj Ahmed. The successful tracing of this case, documented under crime number 02/2024 and classified under section 395 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC), underscores the police’s commitment to addressing theft and property crimes. Additionally, law enforcement officials recovered stolen electrical goods from Deenpur village, which have been returned to their rightful owner, Muhammad Kalhoro.
