KARACHI: Malir police held a high-level meeting at the SSP Malir office on March 3, 2026, to assess the security situation and bolster law enforcement strategies across the district.
The session, chaired by Dr. Abdul Khaliq, was attended by the SP Malir, all SDPOs, and SHOs. Officials reviewed crime trends and discussed integrated strategies to address emerging security challenges.

Dr. Khaliq instructed officers to strengthen field monitoring, conduct targeted operations against criminal elements, and maintain all personnel on high alert. Reserve forces were ordered to stay ready, and additional staff were deployed to sensitive areas.
Special security measures were outlined for markets, mosques, imambargahs, and locations hosting Tarawih prayers during Ramadan, with intensified patrolling during sehri and iftar hours. Snap checks, picketing, and visible patrols were emphasised to ensure public safety.
The SSP urged DSPOs and SHOs to stay active on the ground, maintain constant monitoring, and prioritise the protection of citizens’ lives and property.
