In a recent appearance on a private morning show, renowned Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat addressed questions regarding her marriage plans. When asked if her mother receives marriage proposals for her, she admitted that while proposals do come in, her focus had primarily been on her career until two years ago.
Hayat shared that her perspective has shifted recently, and she is open to the idea of marriage if she meets someone suitable. However, she stated that she often deflects proposals from her mother until the right person comes along—someone intelligent, kind, and capable of balancing family life with career.
She emphasized that marriage represents a union of two families, not just two individuals.
