KARACHI: Under the dynamic leadership of Iqbal Advani, Chairman of the Memon Leadership Forum (MLF) Dubai Chapter, the forum successfully organized the Students’ Excellence Awards, marking a historic first in the educational history of the Memon community in Dubai.
The prestigious event was held at the Pakistan Association Dubai, with support from Crystal Bay Azur. The ceremony recognized outstanding students from various schools across the United Arab Emirates for their achievements in academics, general knowledge, leadership skills, and co-curricular activities. Awards and trophies were presented to the students in appreciation of their dedication, talent, and hard work.
The event was attended by parents, teachers, education experts, community leaders, and prominent social figures. Special guest Rizwan Suriat graced the occasion, while MLF Dubai Chapter leadership, including Vice-Chairman Education Committee Rehan Suriya, Board Members Arfat Naviwala, Yaz Naviwala, Imran Panjwani, and Mohammad Saleem, personally distributed awards and praised the students for their accomplishments.
Speakers highlighted that such recognition programs motivate students toward greater effort, research, and healthy competition. They also acknowledged the pivotal role of teachers and parents in supporting students’ success. Addressing the gathering, Iqbal Advani affirmed that the forum will continue to organize initiatives that encourage students and promote intellectual, ethical, and educational development within the community.
He noted that in just three years, the MLF Dubai Chapter has successfully conducted over fifty programs, an achievement that fills the forum with pride. The ceremony concluded with attendees appreciating the event’s success and emphasizing the importance of continuing such educational and community-oriented initiatives in the future.
