
KARACHI: Pakistan Navy, in collaboration with law enforcement agencies, conducted a joint operation and confiscated alcohol worth approximately 14 crore and 56 lakh rupees.
Pakistan Navy, Pakistan Maritime Security Agency, and Pakistan Customs Intelligence Joint Maritime Information and Coordination Center conducted a joint intelligence-based operation in the northern Arabian Sea, during which 4104 bottles of alcohol were seized. The seized alcohol is valued at nearly 14 crore and 56 lakh rupees. The confiscated items have been handed over to Pakistan Customs for further legal action.
According to the Director General of Public Relations (Navy), in the context of the current security situation where criminals are engaged in tarnishing Pakistan’s image due to their nefarious activities, the successful joint operation by Pakistan Navy, Pakistan Maritime Security Agency, and Pakistan Customs reaffirms the commitment to ensuring the security of the country’s maritime and land borders.
