KHAIRPUR: Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University of Technology and Skill Development (BBS-UTECH) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Archroma Pakistan Limited, Jamshoro, to strengthen collaboration between academia and industry. The agreement was formalised on 18 December 2025.

The MoU was signed by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr Rasool Bux Mahar and Qazi Naaemuddin, Head of Operations at Archroma Jamshoro, in a ceremony attended by Archroma representatives Abdul Salam and Sajid Ahmed Junejo. As a gesture of partnership, the Vice Chancellor presented shields of appreciation to the visiting team.

Engr. Asmatullah Memon, Director of Industry–Academia Liaison at BBS-UTECH, delivered a presentation outlining the university’s academic programs, research capabilities, and potential areas for collaboration, including student internships, joint research projects, and capacity-building initiatives.

The MoU aims to provide a sustainable framework for cooperation, allowing students and faculty to gain exposure to real-world industrial practices while supporting Archroma with skilled human resources and research-driven solutions.
