KARACHI: On the occasion of Pakistan’s 76th Independence Day, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Chairman of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan, conveyed his greetings to the nation and shared his reflections on the significance of freedom and the original goals behind the creation of Pakistan.
Dr. Siddiqui emphasized that freedom is the greatest blessing bestowed upon humanity by God. He noted that the creation of Pakistan was not merely about acquiring a piece of land but was meant to realize the vision of a mentally liberated and welfare-oriented Islamic state. He lamented that despite the countless sacrifices made to achieve the blessed state of Pakistan, it was unfortunately handed over to individuals with a historical legacy of mental and physical servitude spanning over a thousand years.
In his message, Dr. Siddiqui highlighted the responsibility of the youth of Pakistan to embrace the principles laid out by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and actively contribute to steering the nation towards its rightful path. He called upon the younger generation to play a positive role in upholding these values and ensuring the nation’s progress in accordance with the founding ideals.
