PESHAWAR: Fast bowler Mohammad Musa etched his name in the history books by taking a double hat-trick in the 2025 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.
The 25-year-old pacer from Islamabad achieved the remarkable feat in the final round match at Diamond Cricket Ground, dismissing four Peshawar batsmen in consecutive deliveries to complete a double hat-trick. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) shared a video of his performance on social media.
Musa had already taken five wickets in Peshawar’s first innings, and his extraordinary bowling in the second innings added another historic milestone. In total, he sent ten batsmen back to the pavilion in the match.
Thanks to Musa’s stellar display, Islamabad defeated Peshawar by 77 runs and concluded their tournament campaign on a high note.
Meanwhile, Sialkot and Karachi Blues have qualified for the final, which is scheduled to begin on 1 December.
