KARACHI: Preparations for the ICC Champions Trophy are in full swing as upgrades to the National Stadium Karachi continue.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has reported significant progress on the stadium’s upgrade project, which is aimed at enhancing facilities for players and spectators alike. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi recently visited the stadium to review the ongoing development work and emphasized the importance of completing the project ahead of schedule.
Naqvi instructed the team to install the electronic screen at an optimal height to ensure unobstructed views for fans during matches. He also highlighted the need to improve parking facilities close to the stadium to accommodate the influx of spectators expected for the tournament. The chairman underscored the significance of hosting the Champions Trophy in Pakistan, viewing it as a prestigious opportunity for the country to showcase its cricketing facilities to the world.
