SUKKUR: A tragic road accident on the Indus Highway near Torhi Phatak claimed the life of a young man and left six others injured when a car overturned while traveling from Dadu to Karachi.
The deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Dost Ali, son of Khadim Randwani, who died on the spot. The injured include Muhammad Malook, son of Hussain Bakhsh; six-year-old Muhammad Usman Randwani; four-year-old Aamna; eight-year-old Muhammad Hussain; Rabia, daughter of Khadim Hussain; and Fatima, daughter of Muhammad Malook Randwani.
Rescue teams immediately shifted the injured and the deceased to Manjhand Taluka Hospital. The injured were later referred to Civil Hospital Hyderabad for further treatment. After completion of legal formalities, Dost Ali’s body was handed over to his family.
Authorities urged drivers to exercise caution on the highway, especially while navigating dangerous curves and during adverse traffic conditions.
