JEDDAH: Pakistan’s Consul General in Jeddah, Syed Mustafa Rabbani, has said the long-standing friendship between Pakistan and China extends well beyond borders and is being reinforced through practical economic cooperation abroad.
He was speaking at a ceremony marking the signing of a contract for a Chinese-manufactured truck by Pakistani investors Mumtaz Ahmed Kahlon and Abdul Rehman Kahlon. The event was attended by diplomats from the Chinese embassy and members of the Pakistani and Saudi business community.
Rabbani said the partnership reflected the strength of Pak-China relations and praised Pakistani investors for contributing to economic development. He assured investors of the consulate’s full support, stressing that those working for Pakistan’s progress would be encouraged and facilitated.
City Link CEO Abdul Rehman Kahlon introduced the company and outlined its business vision. A Chinese diplomat welcomed the agreement, noting that Chinese products were gaining recognition globally for their performance and reliability.
