ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan-Bosnia Parliamentary Friendship Group (PFG) convened for its inaugural session at the Parliament House in Islamabad today, signifying a major step towards strengthening diplomatic ties between Pakistan and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The meeting, led by Dr. Nikhat Shakeel Khan, Member of the National Assembly (MNA) and Convener of the Pakistan-Bosnia & Herzegovina PFG, was an important milestone in fostering bilateral cooperation.
Held within the National Assembly Secretariat, the session aimed to explore avenues for advancing trade relations and economic collaboration between the two countries. Emin Cohodarevic, Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Pakistan, was the guest of honor, lending a diplomatic weight to the proceedings and marking the beginning of renewed dialogue between the two nations.

Several prominent MNAs were present at the gathering, including Muhammad Shahryar Khan Mahar, Ahmed Saleem Siddiqui, Sofia Saeed Shah, Shahida Rehmani, Rana Ansar, Asia Naz Tanoli, Zeb Jaffar, and Naveed Aamir Jeeva. Their participation reflected the widespread political support within Pakistan for enhancing bilateral ties with Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Key discussions during the meeting revolved around deepening trade connections and exploring potential sectors for joint economic ventures.
