DHAKA: The second One Day International between Pakistan and Bangladesh is scheduled to be played today at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium. Bangladesh currently leads the three-match series 1-0.
In the opening ODI, Bangladesh chased down a modest target of 115 in the 16th over, defeating Pakistan by eight wickets. For Pakistan, Fahim Ashraf scored 37, Sahbaz Farhan 27, and Muaz Siddiqui 18 before being dismissed.
Bangladesh’s innings were anchored by an unbeaten 67 from Tamzid Hasan and 27 from Najm Hossain Shanto. Shaheen Shah Afridi and Mohammad Wasim each took a wicket for Pakistan.
The second match promises another competitive encounter as Pakistan seeks to level the series.
