KARACHI: The Government of Sindh has reiterated its unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people, with spokesperson Syeda Tehseen Abidi delivering a powerful address at a massive rally in Karachi. Condemning Israeli aggression, she made an impassioned plea for justice, emphasizing that the Palestinian struggle transcends borders, religions, and political interests.

“We are not gathered here today for any political agenda. We stand for Palestine, the deepest wound of humanity,” Tehseen Abidi declared. “Al-Quds is questioning us today—it bears witness that oppression has reached its peak while the world remains silent. But we will not remain silent!” She stressed that the Palestinian cause is not just a regional issue but a fundamental question of human survival, highlighting the atrocities committed against innocent civilians.

“Are we not witnessing children being shot? Homes being bulldozed, places of worship desecrated, hospitals bombed? If we allow Palestine to suffer in silence today, no nation in the world will be safe tomorrow!” Drawing on historical parallels, she reminded the audience that tyranny, no matter how powerful, is destined to fall. Referencing the battle of Karbala, she invoked the resistance of Imam Hussain (A.S.) against Yazid’s oppressive rule.

“When Yazid demanded allegiance from Imam Hussain (A.S.), he refused. Hussain (A.S.) had no army, no resources, yet he possessed the greatest strength—the power of truth! Today, the oppressed people of Palestine are upholding the same message. They may not have nuclear weapons, advanced technology, or large armies, but they have the power of righteousness—and that is the greatest weapon of all.” She called on the international community to move beyond statements of condemnation and take concrete action against Israeli atrocities.

Affirming Pakistan’s firm stance, she made it clear that the Government of Sindh would continue to raise its voice for Palestine on every platform. “Let it be clear: Pakistan stands with Palestine and will always stand with Palestine! We will never recognize Israeli aggression, and we will continue our struggle until Al-Quds is free!” Her speech resonated with the rally’s participants, who chanted slogans in solidarity with the Palestinian cause, reaffirming Pakistan’s longstanding support for the oppressed.
