Key discussions centered on the impact of global powers and local rulers on Sindh’s natural assets, such as Karoonjhar Lake, Gorakh Hill, the seas, salt mines, and lakes

SUKKUR: The Sindhi Shagird Tehreek concluded its three-day educational workshop titled “Equipped with Revolutionary Theories” in village Rasool Bux Palijo. The workshop featured a series of lectures from notable figures including writers, leaders from Awami Tehreek and Sindhi Shagird Tehreek, intellectuals, and experts across various fields.

The workshop focused on enhancing understanding of global affairs, scientific research, historical contexts, and philosophical ideologies. Lecturers discussed the implications of global dynamics on local issues, including the controversial push for the Kalabagh Dam by the Chairman of WAPDA. The participants criticized the dam project as part of a broader conspiracy aimed at disrupting national unity and seizing control over Sindh’s resources, particularly highlighting the threat posed to the Indus River and other natural resources.

Key discussions centered on the impact of global powers and local rulers on Sindh’s natural assets, such as Karoonjhar, Gorakh, the seas, salt mines, and lakes. The speakers emphasized that the lack of awareness about these global and local issues contributes to the detrimental effects of foreign domination and exploitation. They called for increased knowledge and proactive engagement among Sindh’s population to safeguard local resources and ensure economic stability.

Central President of Awami Tehreek, Lal Jarwar, delivered a notable lecture on “The Importance of Fiqr-i Rasool Bux Palijo in Sindhi Society.” Jarwar highlighted that Rasool Bux Palijo used scientific theories and historical materialism to analyze Sindhi society, creating a revolutionary theory that was relevant to the local conditions. Lal Jarwar praised Palijo for integrating literature, art, culture, and music into political struggle and mobilizing women in the political arena.
