KARACHI: Chairman of the Pakistan Gharib Awam Party, Syed Arshad Hussain, along with senior party leaders Zafar Ali Khan and Abdul Qayyum Khan, have strongly criticized Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon’s praise of the so-called “standard services” at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD), calling it a “serious misunderstanding or ignorance.”
The party leaders highlighted that a large number of poor and underprivileged patients at NICVD are facing life-threatening conditions due to delays in operations and non-payment of millions of rupees for the hire of essential surgical machines.
They demanded that the Sindh government set aside its “grandiose claims” of performance and instead take immediate action to save the lives of these vulnerable patients.
The statement was issued by the Press and Publication Department of the Pakistan Gharib Awam Party.
