PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court has issued a directive to prevent the arrest of Bushra Bibi for a period of 14 days in relation to ongoing cases against her. The court heard her plea for protective bail and details concerning the cases filed.
Judges Shakeel Ahmad and Sahibzada Asadullah presided over the hearing. Sources indicate that Bushra Bibi’s release from jail is based on merit and does not involve any deals. The court has requested detailed case information from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), and the provincial government.
