NAWABSHAH: A “Pledge Wall” initiative was launched in Nawabshah to encourage young citizens to exercise their voting rights. Organised by local civic groups, students and youth wrote personal commitments on a public wall, pledging to vote in upcoming elections.
Participants shared views on informed voting and civic responsibility. The organisers said the initiative targets first-time voters, aiming to strengthen democracy and ensure community voices are heard.
The event included sessions on electoral procedures, the value of each vote, and the role of youth in shaping the country’s future. Local authorities and educational institutions praised the initiative, calling it a positive step toward political awareness.
Organisers urged young citizens to honor their pledges and motivate peers to participate in the democratic process, stressing that voting is both a right and a responsibility contributing to national development.
