“The Israeli government should face strict punishment for these gruesome crimes,” Prime Minister Sharif asserted, stressing the need for the enforcement of an ICJ verdict against Israel

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has vehemently condemned an Israeli airstrike on a school-turned-shelter for displaced Palestinians in Gaza City, describing it as “an open aggression and barbarity which had no precedent in history.” In a statement issued on Saturday, the Prime Minister condemned the attack, which resulted in the tragic loss of over 100 lives, including women and children.
Prime Minister Sharif denounced the strike as a crossing of all limits by Israel, labeling it as an act of severe aggression. He called upon the international community, including the United Nations, to take decisive measures to halt the ongoing Israeli aggression and to hold Israel’s leadership and armed forces accountable for what he termed as the genocide of Palestinians and war crimes.
“The Israeli government should face strict punishment for these gruesome crimes,” Prime Minister Sharif asserted, stressing the need for the enforcement of an International Court of Justice (ICJ) verdict against Israel. His statement underscores Pakistan’s strong stance on holding Israel accountable for its actions.
In his remarks, Prime Minister Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan’s steadfast moral and diplomatic support for the Palestinian people. He extended his prayers for the martyrs who lost their lives in the attack and conveyed his deepest condolences to the bereaved families affected by the tragedy.
The Israeli strike on the school-turned-shelter in Gaza City, reported earlier in the day by Palestinian officials, has been met with widespread condemnation and calls for international intervention to address the ongoing conflict and humanitarian crisis in the region.
