ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in Islamabad on Wednesday, where the Chief Minister provided a detailed briefing on the progress of development initiatives across the province. The Prime Minister assured that the federal government would extend full support to expedite the completion of ongoing projects in Sindh. Relevant ministries were directed to maintain close coordination with the provincial government to ensure that public welfare programs move forward efficiently.

Highlighting political collaboration, the Prime Minister said that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is a key ally in the federal coalition, and mutual cooperation among coalition parties could accelerate national development. He emphasized that coordination and consultation between allied parties are essential for national stability and policy continuity.

Acknowledging the leadership role of Sindh in the coalition government, the Prime Minister stated that strong federal-provincial ties strengthen the democratic system and facilitate addressing the public’s issues. The meeting also covered political affairs of Sindh and other matters of mutual interest.

The discussion was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, federal ministers Aman Nazir Tarar, Ahsan Iqbal, and Prime Minister’s Adviser Rana Sanaullah.
