SUKKUR: Hajani Ansari, the widow of the distinguished revolutionary poet Dr. Akash Ansari, has publicly called for a thorough and impartial investigation into her husband’s tragic murder. In a heartfelt video statement, Hajani Ansari raised concerns that forces other than her adopted son, Latif Akash, may be behind the crime, suggesting that her son has been falsely implicated in the case.
According to Hajani Ansari, there are critical inconsistencies in the investigation, particularly regarding the arrest of Latif Akash. She argued that if her son were indeed guilty, he would have avoided the funeral and gone into hiding, rather than attending and being arrested there. She believes this act reflects his innocence, asserting that the true perpetrators of Dr. Akash Ansari’s murder must be identified and held accountable.
The pain of losing her husband and now witnessing her son’s arrest has left Hajani Ansari heartbroken. She expressed, “The death of my husband has already left me devastated, and now the arrest of my son has only deepened my suffering. Only a mother can understand the pain of losing a child. My son must be saved.” Her emotional plea has added a new layer of complexity to the ongoing investigation, raising suspicions about potential external involvement in the murder. Following the release of this powerful statement, the case has gained fresh attention. Calls for a fair and transparent investigation have grown louder, with many questioning whether the investigation has been compromised.
