DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Divisional President and President of District Bar Dera, Sardar Qeisar Khan Miankhel, has described the martyrdom of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto as an irreparable loss for Pakistan and the nation.
Speaking at a ceremony held at his residence, Miankhel House, he praised her sacrifices for democracy, the Constitution, and the rights of the people. The event, attended by a large number of PPP workers and supporters, included Quran Khwani for her eternal peace and special prayers for the elevation of her ranks.
Sardar Miankhel highlighted Bhutto’s role as the first female Prime Minister of the Islamic world and her contributions to Pakistan’s international stature, noting her leadership as a bridge between East and West.
He further stated that President Asif Ali Zardari and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari continue to pursue her mission, working to guide the country toward development, stability, and prosperity. The PPP, he added, remains committed to public service, democratic values, and strengthening the federation.
