KARACHI: In a significant display of dissent, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) staged a robust protest outside the Karachi Press Club against the recently proposed 26th Constitutional Amendment. Among the notable figures in attendance was former President Arif Alvi, who alleged that the amendment was passed through manipulative tactics. Addressing the crowd, Alvi urged the government to ensure the release of the PTI founder, underscoring that their struggle remains peaceful and devoid of any negotiations.

In a show of force, law enforcement detained four individuals, including former Member of the National Assembly, Alamgir Khan; however, Khan was released shortly thereafter.
