KARACHI: The Pakistan Padel Ranking Cup 2025 concluded on June 2 at Sport On, Clifton, Karachi, amid enthusiastic competition and spirited crowds. The tournament crowned Padel Star as champions in the men’s category, while TRIBS claimed victory in the women’s division. In the Boys Under-14 category, Super Striker secured the title, reflecting the rising popularity of padel across the country.
Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab presided over the closing ceremony as the chief guest, awarding trophies, certificates, and cash prizes to the victorious teams. The event was also attended by prominent figures including Muhammad Mateen, President of the Pakistan Padel Federation (PPF), CEO Mudassar Razak, Vice President Syed Rehanuddin, Secretary General Quratulain, Finance Secretary Karima Bano, Maqbool Ahmed of the Pakistan Throwball Federation, and Shoaib Vohra of Sport On, alongside a vibrant audience of sports enthusiasts.
In the men’s final, Padel Star duo Aamil and Murtazain triumphed over Katch Brothers’ M. Azhar and Nafees Yaqoob with a straight-sets victory of 6-3, 7-6. The Tigers Team secured third place by walkover against Gar Gala. The women’s final saw TRIBS’ Natalia and Natasha dominate MUV’s Mehak Tehrani and Saira Umer, winning 6-1, 8-6. Control X Power (Safina and Neha Khan) took third place with a 7-5, 6-3 win over Sister Squad.
In the Boys Under-14 category, Super Striker’s Azhar and Mustafa convincingly defeated Allawala (Ansarullah and Azhar Allawala) 7-5, 6-0 in the final. A2 Brothers clinched third place after a thrilling three-set match against Shaheen Team. Organised by the Pakistan Padel Federation in partnership with the International Padel Federation (FIP), Padel Asia, Sindh Padel Association, and Sport On, the event showcased emerging talent and underscored the growing enthusiasm for Padel in Pakistan’s sports landscape.
