KARACHI: Sahil Welfare Association hosted a prestigious Sehri night at the residence of Danish Aman, organized under the leadership of Vice Admiral Faisal Amin, Commander Coast and Chairman of the association.

In his address, Vice Admiral Faisal Amin expressed gratitude to former Pakistan Navy officers, including Vice Admiral Imran and Vice Admiral (R) Shahid, Chairman KPT, and Karachi’s business community, acknowledging their generous support for nearly twenty years. He emphasized that Sahil Welfare focuses on three main objectives: providing clean drinking water, basic education, and healthcare, ensuring that all donations reach the intended beneficiaries under the supervision and resources of the Pakistan Navy.

A donation collection was also held prior to Sehri, with significant contributions pledged to support ongoing projects for underprivileged coastal communities.
The event was attended by prominent figures from multiple fields, including actors, singers, comedians, media personalities, political leaders, bureaucrats, and squash legend Jahangir Khan, adding prestige and vibrancy to the gathering.
Vice Admiral Faisal Amin highlighted key projects from the past year, such as the revival of a hospital in Gwadar, the establishment of an inclusive learning center for special children in Haro, the launch of a revolving fund for the fishing community, and the development of an IT hub in collaboration with Saylani Welfare International Trust.
The arrangements were overseen by Danish Aman, Commodore Shahid Irshad, Lieutenant Hasnain Saqib, and the liaison officer. Attendees expressed their continued commitment to support social welfare initiatives.
The hosts concluded by thanking all participants, with several philanthropists and organizations pledging ongoing financial and moral support for future projects.
