MUMBAI: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has come under threat once again, as he received a life-threatening message demanding 2 crore Indian rupees. The Mumbai Traffic Police received these threatening messages from an unidentified individual via their helpline. The message explicitly warned that if the money was not paid, Khan’s life would be in jeopardy. This alarming threat comes at a time when law enforcement has recently apprehended a 20-year-old suspect from Noida, identified as Gufran Khan, who has been linked to similar threats against the actor. The police have traced these threats to another suspect named Mohammad Tayyab, who has also been arrested.
The Mumbai police had previously dealt with similar threats made against Khan, including the arrest of a 24-year-old vegetable vendor from Jamshedpur, who had sent a menacing message claiming to represent the Bishnoi gang. The vendor demanded 5 crore rupees to facilitate a peace agreement between Salman Khan and gang leader Lawrence Bishnoi. This pattern of threats against Khan raises serious concerns about celebrity safety and organized crime in India, particularly given the high-profile nature of the individuals involved.
