SUKKUR: Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU), Khairpur, has once again proven its athletic excellence by winning the coveted title of the Inter-University Volleyball Championship 2024, held at Sindh Agriculture University (SAU) in Tando Jam. The competition, organized by SAU, brought together a range of universities from across Sindh, including teams from Sindh University, ISRA University, LUMHS Hyderabad, Sukkur IBA, SAU Tandojam, Tando Muhammad Khan Medical & Science University, and MUET Jamshoro.

In a thrilling final, SALU’s volleyball team triumphed over their competitors, securing the championship title and cementing their place as one of the region’s top sports institutions. The victory highlights SALU’s ongoing commitment to nurturing athletic talent and fostering a culture of sportsmanship.
The event was attended by Dr. Fatah Mohammad Mari, Vice Chancellor of Sindh Agriculture University, who congratulated all the participating teams and praised the level of competition. Ghulam Mujtaba Jatoi, Deputy Director of SALU Khairpur, managed the winning team, while the team’s success can also be attributed to the coaching expertise of Zafar Uddin Memon, Director of Physical Education at Govt Degree College Therhi.
