KHAIRPUR: Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU), Khairpur, took a step toward integrating modern technology into academia by hosting a workshop titled Enhancing Curriculum & Assessment with Generative AI: A QEC-Aligned Approach for Quality Assurance. Led by Vice Chancellor Meritorious Professor Dr. Yousuf Khushk, the event underscored the university’s commitment to faculty development, quality education, and research excellence.
The workshop, organized by Prof. Dr. Iram Rani, featured Prof. Dr. Javed Ahmed from Sukkur IBA University as the lead trainer, with Prof. Dr. Riaz Ahmed Shaikh serving as coordinator. More than 60 faculty members participated in discussions aimed at reshaping academic assessment and curriculum design through the use of generative AI.

Dr. Khushk, addressing the faculty, emphasized the necessity of adapting to technological advancements and utilizing funding opportunities to enhance institutional performance. He urged faculty members to cultivate international academic linkages, citing Istanbul University’s model of forging multiple collaborations worldwide. Acknowledging the recent success of Students’ Week, Dr. Khushk extended his gratitude to Dr. Javed Ahmed Shahhani, Dr. Iram Rani, and Dr. Riaz Ahmed Shaikh for their efforts in organizing the workshop.
