SUKKUR: Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU) Khairpur is gearing up to host its highly anticipated Students Week from February 17. Vice Chancellor Meritorious Professor Dr. Yousuf Khushk has stressed the importance of student participation in the event, calling on students to actively engage in various committees and activities.
At a preparatory meeting, Dr. Khushk emphasized that events like the Flower Show, Entrepreneurship Mela, and Book Fair would provide students with valuable opportunities to showcase their talents and foster a sense of pride and ownership in their university. The focus is to create an enriching environment that encourages both academic and extracurricular engagement.

Events will include the Entrepreneurship Mela, Cleanliness & Plantation Drives, Singing, Debate, and Poetry Competitions, Career Counseling, Freelancing Workshops, a Folk Festival, and much more. Other events include Sindhi Bet Bazi, One-Act Plays, Motivational Documentaries, Qawwali, Naat & Qirat Competitions, Health Awareness initiatives, Podcasting, a Food Mela, and a Kitab Mela. Students will also have the chance to engage in Meet the Author sessions, Panel Discussions, Mock Trials, Policy-Making Competitions, Storytelling through Kathak Dance, Cultural Shows, and Alumni and Faculty Interactions.
