SUKKUR: Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University (SBBU) in Shaheed Benazirabad hosted its vibrant 3rd Science Fair, organized by the Department of Genetics and Molecular Biology at the Faculty of Science and Technology. The event, held at the university’s main campus, was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Madad Ali Shah, with key faculty members, deans, and department heads in attendance.

The one-day fair showcased a series of innovative student projects, with around 14 models developed by students from various academic batches. These projects, ranging across different scientific disciplines, were designed to demonstrate the students’ practical skills and academic prowess. Each stall featured student representatives who explained their models to the VC and other attendees. Dr. Nadir Rind, Chairman of the Genetics Department, highlighted the impressive work and creativity of the students, emphasizing the importance of such exhibitions in fostering academic growth.

Prof. Dr. Madad Ali Shah said events like these stimulate creativity, enhance critical thinking, and promote a spirit of competition among students. The inauguration ceremony was attended by several prominent figures, including Dr. Liaquat Ali Zardari, Dr. Salman Bashir Memon, Syed Hasan Ali Shah, Manzoor Siyal, Dr. Ashiq Hussain Jatoi, Dr. Khalid Rind, and Dr. Dastar Ali Chandio, among others.
