SUKKUR: Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University has achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification for its Quality Management System, a globally recognized standard reflecting the institution’s commitment to academic and administrative excellence.
Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Madad Ali Shah congratulated the administration and faculty, particularly Director Finance Ashfaq Ahmed Sheikh and his team, for their efforts in securing the certification. He said it covers higher education services, including academic programs, research, examinations, merit-based admissions, and efficient administrative systems.
Dr. Shah highlighted the support of local leadership, including MNA Aseefa Bhutto and Provincial Health Minister Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho, in advancing education in the region. He added that the ISO certification demonstrates that the university’s processes meet international standards and are effectively implemented.
The vice chancellor said the recognition would enhance the university’s global profile, strengthen transparency, efficiency, and accountability, and boost confidence among students, faculty, and stakeholders, aligning the institution with international best practices in higher education.
