SUKKUR: The Shaikh Ayaz University Shikarpur convened its 7th Syndicate Meeting under the leadership of newly appointed Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Naveed Ahmed Shaikh, on 12 February 2026 at the university premises. The meeting marked a key milestone in the academic and administrative advancement of the institution.
Prof. Dr. Naveed Ahmed Shaikh presided over the session, emphasizing the university’s commitment to academic excellence, transparent governance, institutional integrity, and adherence to statutory provisions. He reaffirmed his determination to guide the institution toward sustainable development and quality enhancement in higher education.
Following the meeting, the Vice Chancellor and Syndicate members formally inaugurated CCTV cameras installed in eight university student buses, reflecting a proactive initiative to ensure student safety, enhance parental confidence, and strengthen campus security.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks to the Chair. Prof. Dr. Naveed Ahmed Shaikh expressed appreciation for the contributions of Syndicate members and reiterated his commitment to fostering academic excellence, good governance, and progressive institutional development at Shaikh Ayaz University Shikarpur.

During deliberations, the Syndicate resolved that until Shaikh Ayaz University formulates its own Statutes and Code, it will follow the governing Statutes and regulatory framework of its mother institution, Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur. All decisions, policies, and administrative measures will adhere to the provisions of the Updated Code, Regulations, Statutes, and Rules of Shah Abdul Latif University, ensuring legal compliance, procedural transparency, and institutional stability during the university’s formative phase.
