KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has taken notice of a building collapse in Moach Goth, Baldia, where at least 11 people were killed after a wall caved in. He directed the district administration and rescue agencies to take immediate action following the incident.
According to rescue officials, the tragedy occurred when a second-floor roof collapsed onto the first floor, causing severe damage. Authorities confirmed that the structure was not a residential building.
SSP Keamari Sanghar Malik said investigations were underway to determine the cause of the collapse, while rescue teams continued operations at the site. The incident has raised concerns about building safety and enforcement of construction regulations in the area.
