SUKKUR: Ali Hassan Zardari and PPP leader Tahir Imtiaz Phulpoto discussed the overall political situation in Sindh during a meeting in Khairpur. PPP leader and Khairpur Sardar Tahir Imtiaz Phulpoto met Ali Hassan Zardari, the provincial minister for jails, works and communication, where the two discussed the political landscape in Sindh as well as internal party matters aimed at strengthening the PPP’s position in Khairpur.

Phulpoto drew the minister’s attention to the dilapidated condition of roads in Khairpur, particularly the stretch from Gharhi Pull to Mehran College, which had caused months of frustration among residents due to its poor state. He told the minister that Khairpur had a large population and a significant vote bank, yet many villages belonging to the Phulpoto community remained deprived of clean drinking water, sanitation facilities and proper school infrastructure.

He said that, as head of the Phulpoto tribe, he had been receiving frequent complaints about the lack of development schemes in Khairpur and other cities in Sindh. He demanded that these issues be addressed and urged the minister to raise them with Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Faryal Talpur. Minister Ali Hassan Zardari assured him that the concerns would be taken up and pledged to work on reorganising and strengthening the party in Khairpur.
