    Sindh police promote 45 DSPs to SP

    KARACHI: The Sindh Police Department has issued a notification announcing promotions from the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) to Superintendent of Police (SP), under which 45 DSPs have been elevated to the higher rank.

    According to the notification, those promoted include Mansoor Ali Buzdar, Zakaria Alam Khan and Izhar Hussain Lahori. Adil Raza Yousafzai, Muhammad Aslam Anwar and Muhammad Bakhsh Khushki have also been promoted to the rank of SP.

    The list of promoted officers further includes Jahangir Ahmed Hashmi, Ghulam Mustafa Kachlo and Zulfiqar Haider, who have been appointed as superintendents of police. Abdul Qayyum Mazari, Sikandar Ali Shah and Khalid Javed are also among those promoted.

    In addition, Asif Javed, Khalil Javed and Javed Hussain Wadho have been elevated to the rank of SP. The promotion of Zahoor Ahmed Soomro, Ghulam Sarwar Wasro and Israr Ahmed Khan Chanazi has also been approved.

    Muhammad Aslam Rajput, Masroor Ahmed Jatoi and Hassan Waqar have likewise received promotions. Female officer Fahmida Abbasi, along with Zaki Malik and Adil Arshad Phulpoto, have also been promoted to the rank of superintendent of police.

    The notification further includes the promotion of Nazir Ahmed Soomro, Hafiz Abdul Qadir Chhachhar and Muhammad Panah Bhutto. Shah Nawaz Memon has also been promoted to the rank of SP.

    The issuance of the notification formally completes the promotion process, marking a significant development within the Sindh Police hierarchy.
