KARACHI: Inspector General of Sindh Police, Javed Alam Odho, chaired an introductory meeting at the Central Police Office in Karachi on 1 January 2026, bringing together senior police officials to review departmental performance and future priorities.
The meeting included Additional IG Training, DIGs Headquarters, Establishment, Training, TNTA IGs, and the Principal of Rizqabad Police Training College. In the first phase, officials assessed key issues and performance in the Establishment and Training departments.
Speaking at the meeting, IG Odho said the future of policing was closely linked to digitalization, and stressed the need to adopt policies aligned with modern standards. He highlighted that smart policing would improve service delivery, optimize manpower, and reduce financial costs.
Odho also announced that similar introductory meetings would be held across Sindh Police’s various units and divisions. He noted that the Sindh government was fully supporting efforts to enhance police service delivery.
