SUKKUR, Mar 6: The Sindh Provincial Ombudsman, Sukkur Region, organised a public grievance camp at the District Accounts Office to address citizens’ complaints and ensure timely resolution of public issues. The camp, presided over by Regional Director Ahmed Ali Qureshi, saw officials from multiple departments engage with local residents and pensioners regarding grievances related to pensions, arrears, service books, and other financial matters.

Regional Director Qureshi reviewed the complaints in detail, issuing immediate instructions to relevant officers to resolve issues on the spot. Several pensioners’ cases were addressed during the camp, while pending matters were ordered to be submitted with full reports within a specified timeframe. Qureshi emphasised that addressing the difficulties faced by retired employees remains a top priority and warned that procedural delays or negligence would not be tolerated.
The camp aimed to provide justice at citizens’ doorsteps and improve the efficiency and responsiveness of government institutions, ensuring better coordination among departments for prompt relief to the public.
